Carolyn Mason

Carolyn was born on September 23, 1949, at Queen’s Hospital in Kansas City, MO to Leroy “Satchel” and Lahoma Paige. She grew up amongst several other siblings on 28th Street. She was known for her green thumb, witty sense of humor, being real, and loving on her children and grandchildren.

She was employed by Examinetics as a Data Analyst for more than twenty years before retiring in 2019. In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, making candles, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings (Shirley Miller and Warren Paige), her grandson (Deon Paige), and her great-granddaughter (Kaylee-Ann Paige).

She leaves to cherish her memory, her siblings: Pamela O’Neal, Linda Sue Shelby, Robert Paige (Faye), Lula Paige, Rita Rogers, her children Bryant Paige, Erin Paige, Larry Paige (Havon), Carol Barnes, Crystal Marchbanks (Antwuan), and Christopher Mason, her grandchildren Micah Paige, Dimon Paige, J’Sean Bryant, D’Ante Paige, Danisha Paige, D’evin Paige, Makyla Paige, Da’mar Paige, Tia Paige, Tiera Paige, and Antwuan Marchbanks Jr., her great-grandchildren Landon Paige and Aleena Paige, and a host of nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and a deeply saddened community.
