Carrie Collins

Carrie Bell Collins, 70, departed this life on March 11, 2023, in Kansas city Missouri. She was born on May 27, 1952, in Jonestown, Mississippi to Robert James Collins, Sr., and Florida Bell Collins. She grew up in Kansas City, Missouri.

She worked over 20 years as a CNA throughout the metropolitan area doing what she loved; taking care of the elderly and giving them the attention and care they needed. She always put her heart and time into taking care of others. When she retired from caring for the elderly, her passion turned to taking care of children. She was later employed with Calvary Lutheran Church and School. She loved those children as if they were her own. She always had a heart for the young and old.

She was preceded into death by parents: Robert James Collins, Sr., and Florida Bell Collins; her son: Anthony Collins; her brother: Louis Collins; and her sister: Sherri Collins

She is survived by her children: Margrette Collins and Natherlene Collins; her sister: Patricia Collins; her brothers: Robert Collins Jr., Leo Collins, and Don Collins; her grandchildren: Carmen Dockery, Vanessa Robinson, and Nicole Clark; and her great-grandchildren: Amina Solomon, and Rasuul Khalifa, and a host of other relatives and friends.
