Chandra Armstrong

Chandra Danette Armstrong, 60, passed away on April 13, 2022. She was born on April 26, 1961, in Kansas City, MO to Elmer S. Powell and Annie Mae Powell. She grew up in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Kansas City, MO. She married Tonnye Armstrong on June 6, 2009, in Kansas City, MO. They were happily married for nearly 13 years. She was preceded in death by both parents, and her nephew, Joe Powell Jr. She is survived by her husband, Tonnye; her sons, Eric (Julia) Williams, Eron (Leah) Williams, and RayVaun Powell; her 2 stepdaughters, Toni and Tori; her 2 brothers, Elmer Powell Jr. and Joe Powell; her nephew, Cortez Powell; her niece, JaLissa Powell; her pride and joys, her grandchildren, Erica, Eric II, Angel, Rocco, Jaelyn and Eryn Mae Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 5pm. The family will be greeting friends and relatives at the KCPD - multi purpose room, 9701 Marion Park Dr, Kansas City, MO, directly following services.
