Charles J Douglas

Charles J. Douglas, 81, passed on July 6, 2024, at Delmar Gardens of Lenexa n Lenexa, KS. He was born on November 19, 1942, in Louisiana, MO. to Carl Douglas and Rosanna Bell. After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Navy.

After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Charles began working for America Upholstery. Charles was an advent Chiefs fan.

Charles married the love of his life, Inette Elliott, and they were happily married for 56 yrs. Beyond his passing on July 6th, their love for one another will forever carry on.

He was preceded in death by both parents: Carl and Rosanna Douglas, and his wife Inette Douglas.

He is survived by his son Charles Douglas Jr. of Kansas City, MO.; daughters: Christel Douglas and Lyshelle Ross both of Grandview, MO.; brother Ronald Douglas; of Lee's Summit, MO.; sisters: Linda Kay Everett, Gerald Nash, Pamela Douglas, and Cathy Douglas all of Kansas City, MO.; 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
