Charles Gant, Jr.

Charles Gant, 70, passed away on January 15, 2018 at the home in Grandview Missouri. He was born on December 19, 1947 in Little Rock Arkansas to Charlie Gant, Sr and Willie Lee Shaw. He grew up in Little Rock Arkansas. He began work for MC of A as a Contract Mail Hauler.

Later years he continued working as a Contract Mail Hauler at the Salmon Companies until God called him home. He was a faithful supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Fraternal Order of Police and served as Security Officer, and as an honorary member of the Sons of Calvary Male Chorus, at Calvary Chapel Church of God in Christ where he was also a long-time member. He was married to Barbara J. Lenley on October 12, 1982 in Hot Springs Arkansas. They were happily married for 35 years.

He was preceded into death by his both Parents, one sister, and two grandchildren. He is survived by his Spouse of the home, Barbara Gant; two brothers, Gerald Gant and Thomas R Gant, 9 children, 31 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and host of cousins, nieces and nephews and a special cousin, Perry Gantt.
