Charles Edward Williams, Sr., was born on December 4, 1952, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Otha James Williams and Juanita Crawford.
Charles was raised in Kansas City and was a lifelong hard worker. He spent 30 years employed with the City of Kansas City, Missouri, working as a supervisor in the Water Department. Additionally, he was an entrepreneur who owned Webb Lawn Services, providing meticulous care for his clients' lawns. After retiring from the Water Department, Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. He was a dedicated member of Concord Fortress of Hope church under the leadership of Pastor Ronald Lindsay, where he participated in the men's choir. Charles was a devoted and loving father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
In loving memory of “Grandpa” Charles, we bid farewell to a remarkable soul whose kind and friendly nature touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him. Grandpa was a beacon of warmth, radiating kindness and compassion in every interaction. His genuine smile and open heart created an inviting atmosphere, making everyone feel valued and cherished.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Otha “O.J.” Williams and Juanita Crawford, his son, Charles E. Williams, Jr., brother Jerry James Crawford, and sisters, Marva Jean (Crawford) Sherman, Barbara Stevens and bonus daughter, Adrian (Burnett) Cooper.
Charles leaves to treasure the loving memories of his life with his grandchildren, KaTonya Williams of Kansas City, MO, Xander Williams of Phoenix, AZ, and Charmiyah Williams of Kansas City, MO, bonus grandchildren, Brian Bush and Michaela Cooper, and great grandchildren Koreyon Hayes, Kevon Farmer, Jr., Ka′liyah Farmer and Arlanzo Bush and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
