Charlie M. Garrett

Charlie Marie Garrett, 69, passed away on April 14, 2022 in Kansas City, MO. She was born May 31, 1952 in Kansas City, MO to Clifton Wilson Sr. & Mae Eloise Wilson. Charlie grew up in Kansas City, MO and graduated from Paseo High School.

On December 13, 1970 she married Edward R. Garrett and had two daughters Ericka LaRon and Edwanda Rachelle Garrett.  She was employed with AT&T as a Senior Data Processor with over twenty years of service, then transitioned to Hooper Holmes where she remained until retirement.

Charlie Marie was a jack of all trades. In her free time, she obtained certification as a nail technician, and followed her true passion of baking and event planning. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her favorite past time was watching her beloved Kansas City Chiefs.

She was proceeded in death by her Father, Clifton Wilson Sr., & Mother, Mae Eloise Wilson & a loving Aunt Helen Johnson.

She is survived by daughters; Ericka L. Garrett, Edwanda R. Garrett-Bland (James), Granddaughters: Jasmine M. Garrett, Jichelle M. Garrett, Great Granddaughters; Alora M. Williams, Alaya M. Garrett-Iverson, Siblings; Regina Brown (Levaughn), Clifton Wilson Jr., Walter K. Wilson, Kim Wilson, Leisha Campbell (Darron), Uncle; Willie Johnson Jr., nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
