Chester Donnell Falls was born December 10, 1946, in Bastrop, Louisiana, to the late Mary Ann Washington. He spent a lot of time with his grandparents, Mose and Sloan Daniel; aunt and uncle Litlo and Donnell Falls; uncle Johnny Daniel; and loving aunt Juanita Pittman.
He professed a hope in Christ at an early age and attended OLHC Schools before attending Arkansas AM&N College, also known as the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. It was at AM&N that Chester met his wife of 57 years, Natlen Jean Williams. They married on September 21, 1967, and moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1968, where they lived for 14 years before relocating to Kansas City, MO, in 1982 to be near family. To this union 4 sons were born: Reginald, Carlos, and the twins, Eric and Deric.
While in Milwaukee, Chester worked for Babcock and Wilcox and later retired from Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Independence, MO.
Chester was a faithful member and deacon of Light of Life Community Church under the leadership of Bishop Jess W. Thomas and Executive Pastor Leevitta Thomas.
He departed this life on Sunday, July 27, 2025. His mother, grandparents, aunts, and uncles preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Jean; 4 sons: Reggie, Carlos, Eric Sr., and Deric; granddaughters Makayla (Amanda) and Whitney; great-grandchildren: Harmony, Hazel, and Jacob; grandsons: Eric Falls Jr. and Trace Russell; brother Johnny Washington; sister LaDonna Falls; sister-in-law Jacqueline Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, and family.
