Listen to Obituary

Christopher James Harris was born on September 24, 1998 to Gregory Harris and Cynthia Harris (Lewis). Christopher was the third of four children. His huge smile would light up a room and he had a loving personality to match. He loved his family very much and would do anything that he could to help them.

As a little boy, Christopher had those chubby cheeks and an infectious smile. He loved to eat and had no problem asking with his signature “I want some”. He loved chocolate so much that his dad called him “a choco-holic”. His favorite cake was red velvet. He loved Blue’s Clues and Bob the Builder. He was a sports fan. He enjoyed basketball (KU), bowling, fishing, skateboarding, and UFC, but football (Denver Broncos) was his passion. No matter how bad of a mood you were in, you couldn’t help but smile when Chris was around. He was always goofy and loved to joke around. Chris graduated from Park Hill High School where he also played football. Chris attended Canaan Worship Center most of his life where he was baptized. Most recently he attended All The Words of This Life Church. Chris didn’t call his momma “momma”, he called her Dutchess.

Christopher transitioned to Glory on December 19, 2024. He is proceeded in death by his great grandmother Clester Honey Lovelace, grandmother Sallye Harris, grandmother Shirley Atkins, grandfather Henry Carter, aunt Wanda Smith, aunt Gloria Harris, cousin Myeshia Pruett, cousin Shamika Harris, cousin Aretha Harris, and cousin John Edington, Jr.

Christopher leaves to cherish his memory: grandmother Eliza Nicodemus (Momma EJ), father Gregory Harris, mother Cynthia Lewis (Brian), brother Gregory Harris II, sister Nikkia Harris, brother Nikkolis Harris, God parents: Cloran and Steve Dunson, Sr, Charmin and Perry Lewis, special friend Mikylah Blackmon, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He will be dearly missed by everyone that knows him. We thank God for the life and memory of Christopher James Harris.
