Clara Louise Flowers, age 77, formerly of Ada Oklahoma passed away with her loving son and grandchildren by her side on Tuesday afternoon, August 9, 2016, after a brief illness. Born and raised in Ada, Oklahoma, attended Napier Elementary School and Byng High School. Clara obtained a degree in Business Education at East Central State College. She later became a proud member of the Gamma Phi Delta Sorority. Clara had a warm, caring and loyal spirit. She was compassionate by nature, always concerned with the welfare of others. She loved shopping, spending time with her family and providing transportation to senior citizens. She was known for her child like smile and caring heart. Clara was an active member of her community serving many years with the Ivanhoe Neighborhood Council and the Break Time Seniors at the Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church She met and married Frederick Douglas Flowers in 1966 and into this union was born a son Richard Douglas Flowers. They were later blessed with a seven-year-old daughter Lutrina R. Flowers Clara is survived by her son, Richard D. Flowers and his wife Sophia L. Flowers of Kansas City, Missouri, LuTrina R. Flowers of Independence, Missouri, Grandson Alexander W. Foster II, Broderick D. Flowers, James Blount Flowers, granddaughter, Kandis M. Flowers, Great grandchildren Zion and Madison and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Clara was predeceased by her two sister's Rose Clark and Katheryn White. Heart of gold, loved by all, Clara will be dearly missed
