Clara Ann Thomas

Clara Ann Thomas, 78, passed away on May 27, 2026, at North Kansas City Hospital, in Kansas City, Missouri. Clara was born on September 1, 1947, in Parsons, Kansas to Oliver Buster Allen Sr. and Zenobia Allen.

She graduated from Central High School. After high school, she worked as a postal clerk for the United States Postal Service.

She married Willie C. Thomas Sr. on August 6, 1966, in Kansas City, Missouri, and they were happily married for 59 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver Allen Sr. and Zenobia Allen; one child, Erichea Thomas; and her siblings, Jacquelyne Hassen and Valesta Rucker.

She is survived by her husband, Willie C. Thomas Sr.; her children, Willie Thomas Jr., Keiley Finney (Ricardo), Yataha Thomas; siblings; Linda Dudley and Oliver Allen Jr.; grandchildren, William Thomas, Willniya Thomas, Shreyvon Finney (Quincie), Ricardo Finney Jr., Stephon Finney, Davonta Finney, Laki Finney, Kyla Finney, and Tatum Thomas.
