Cleven Tyree Washington — Devoted husband, proud father and cherished grandfather, beloved son, and brother peacefully passed away on April 18,2025 at the age of 46.

Cleven was born on April 9, 1979, in Kansas City, Missouri.

He attended Job Corps.

Life brought its share of hardships, including a difficult chapter in his life yet, Cleven’s story is ultimately one of redemption. After meeting Michele, he chose a new path — one built on faith, family, and perseverance. He accepted Christ into his life and was baptized, proudly beginning a new chapter filled with hope and purpose.

He married Michele June 8,2004. Together they built a life grounded in laughter, strength, forgiveness, and an unbreakable family bond for 20 years. Cleven’s life was a testament to resilience, transformation, dedication, and unconditional love. Cherish every moment with his loved ones. He dedicated himself to providing for his family, working as a forklift operator for P.L.Z Corp.

Beyond his devotion to his family, Cleven had a passion for fishing and traveling the world. Whether casting a line in peaceful waters or exploring new places, he embraced the beauty and adventure of life with an open heart and joyful spirit. His legacy continues through his parents, Cleven and Sherri Washington, and his siblings, Tyra, Tiara, and Ivery, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, memories, support.

Those who knew Cleven will forever remember his big heart, radiant smile, and the light he carried into every room. His life reminds us that true strength lies not only in achievement but in the courage to change and grow. Cleven’s spirit lives on in every life he touched, and his memory will forever be held close in our hearts.

Cleven was preceded in death by Ronald Moye (Uncle), Patricia Davis (Aunt Cookie), Larry Moye (Uncle), LaTanya Booth (Aunt), Demitry Jones (Nephew), Beverly Smith (Aunt), Aree Atkins (Uncle), Marquetta Smith (Cousin), and Maternal Grandparents & Paternal Grandfather. He leaves to cherish his memory is wife, Michele, six children, Dominque, Dayton, DE’Finest, Dy’lan, Cleven Jr and Clevenesha, four grandchildren, Kiera, Kameron, Londyn, and Mason, grandmother, Maple Scott mother, Sherry, father, Cleaven, three siblings, Tyra, Ivery, Tiara, mother In-law Bonita Murphy, and a host of nieces and nephews.
