Clifford Wayne Slaughter

Clifford Wayne Slaughter aged 58 was born July 5, 1961, in Kansas City Missouri to R.T. and Mattie Slaughter.  He was the seventh son of nine siblings. He graduated from Central High School and received a certification in Auto Mechanics from the Kansas City Vocational Technical Educational Center.  Family and friends consulted Clifford on his extensive knowledge of cars, and he was always willing to offer his services. Clifford worked with his father at Jefferson Bus Lines

and had experience working with home renovations. He received a certification of completion for training from Simonton Window Preferred Installer.

He held a position with the IRS which he received recognition for noteworthy contributions to the IRS.  He worked in food service at the VA Hospital and Lions Business for the Missouri Blind, also he worked as a caterer and at our family events he could always be found serving his family and friends.

Clifford’s much-loved pastime was cheering for his favorite sport teams the Kansas City Chiefs and KC Royals, and his hobbies included playing dominoes and chess.

He grew up at the Emmanuel Church under Reverend W.H. White, Sr.

Clifford departed this life on April 24, 2020. Preceded in death by his father, R.T. Sr.; brother, R.T. Jr.; sister, Mary Vincent.  He leaves to cherish his memory; his mother, Mattie Jo Slaughter; five brothers Eddie (Rochelle), Larry, Robert T, Lynn (Kim), Dallas (Julie); sister, Jewel Roberts (Ray); sister-n-law, Theresa and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
