Ms. Clotiel Davis, 72, transitioned from labor to reward on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on February 25, 1951 in Ringgold, Louisiana to Lawrence Williams Sr. and Johnnie Mae Glenn. Ms. Davis grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Kansas City, Missouri. Ms. Davis began wok for Haven Manor as a CAN where she worked for 20 years. She was also involved in church as a secretary and youth counselor at Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church. She married Lester Davis on April 3, 1971 in Kansas City, Missouri.
She was preceded into death by her mother; Johnnie Mae Carey, and her father; Lawrence Williams Sr. and husband; Lester Davis.
She is survived by her son; Lester Davis Jr., daughter; Natasha Davis, siblings; Della Williams, Florence Williams, Sherry Hancock, Lawrence Williams Jr., Samuel Williams(Yvonne), Larry Williams(Pamela), Sharon Miller, and a special brother; Rev. Orlando Woods(Dora), special sister; Myrtis Scott(John), grandchildren; Alayshia Williams(Steffon Smith), Carlos Williams, Latasha Davis(Freddy Hernandez), five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
