Cora Mae McGinnis, 67, passed away on September 17, 2020 at home in Kansas City, MO. She was born on February 2, 1953 in Sumner Mississippi to Walter Tinner Sr. and Willie Mae Tinner. Cora grew up in Kansas City, MO, where she graduated from Central High School and attended Vocational School, where she received her CNA in Nursing. Cora began work for Oakwood Country Club as a Pantry Chef where she worked for 20 years also John Knox Village, and Pleasant Valley Manor as a CNA for many years. Cora retired in 2010 after many years of work.

Cora was preceded into death by her husband, Ralph McGinnis, her father, Walter Tinner Sr., nephew, Michael Sutton.

Cora is survived by her mother Willie Mae Tinner, her five brothers; Walter Tinner Jr. (Marian), J.B. Tinner (Sharon), jimmy Tinner( Sharon), Rodney Tinner (Jen), John Tinner( Roxanne), her three sisters; Vera Taylor, Annie woods (Cedric), Sharon Tilmon (Gary), special brother, Gregory Gibbs, and host of other relatives and friends.
