Craig Donnell Jones Jr.

Craig was born January 9, 1993, in Kansas City, Missouri to the union of Lavetta Yates and Craig Jones, Sr.

Craig was preceded in death by: Brothers Deontrey Jones and Deontae Jones, Maternal Great Grandmother Dorothy Hardin, Maternal Grandmother Carrie Yates, Maternal Grandfather Ethan Lockett, Paternal Grandmother Eleanor Jackson, Paternal Grandfather Tilford Washington, Aunts: Paula Randolph, Sharon Yates, and Johniece Daniels, Uncles: Anthony Yates and Kevin Jones.

Craig graduated from Don Bosco High School in Kansas City, Missouri.

To know Craig was to know you will laugh every time he entered the room, his laughs were so contagious. There was not a time that you would call him, and he didn’t answer the phone. One thing about Craig, he loved his family, right, wrong, or indifferent, he would make sure you knew he loved you. He loved being with his family and friends at gatherings, he made sure to attend, so that he could fill everyone with laughter.

The love Craig had for his two daughters, Ka’Moni (Monkey) and Ka’ Laya (Lady), was always shown when they were together or on the phone. They were the "3 Amigos" or as most would say, “his then and now” Twins. He loved being a Godfather, and he was a great Dad, Son, Brother, Cousin, Nephew, Uncle, and Friend. He had mad love for all that had mad love for hm, and he showed it unconditionally.

Craig leaves to cherish his memories to: Mother Lavatta Yates, Father Craig Jones Sr., Two Daughters: Ka’Moni Jones and Ka’Laya Jones, Three Brothers: Carl Wilson Jr., Donnell Jones, and Craig Jones, Five Sisters: Diamond Jones, Crystal Oliver (Kevin), Tyesha Davis, M’Kaela Cole, and Krystian Swinton, Sister-in-Law Kiara Jones, a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunties, Uncles, Godchildren, and Friends.

Craig will be missed by many. Each person that he touched he left them with their own deep loving memories.
