Crystal Renee Miller, 32, passed away on January 20, 2020 peacefully at home with her family by her side. She was born on July 1, 1987 in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina to Phillip E. Miller, Sr., and Charlotte E. Miller.
She grew up in Overland Park, Kansas. She graduated from Blue Valley West High School in Overland Park, Kansas. After high school she attended Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas.
Crystal was involved in Special Olympics where she loved playing basketball and bowling.
Crystal was the life of the party. Her smile was resonated with anyone that came in contact with her and her infectious laugh is something you will never forget. She always had the whole room laughing from her witty comebacks to her sense of humor. When anyone was down, she was determined to make them smile sometimes that would consist of a full out concert in the living room with a few wardrobe changes, she was a rapper at heart like her cousin Nesto.
Above all, Crystal was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and God Mom. She loved her family unconditionally, while enduring all these medical obstacles these last 6 years she never complained. Her favorite response when asked “how are you?” was “I’m Good”; with a smile on her face.
She was preceded in passing by her grandparents William Miller, Donna Miller; grandmother Charlesetta Paulette; aunt Carolyn; uncles Benjamin, Earnest; and cousin Ernesto.
Crystal leaves to cherish her memories her parents Phillip E. Miller, Sr., Charlotte Miller; brother, Phillip E. Miler, Jr.; sister in-law, Vania Miller; niece, Mia; nephews, Phillip, III., Alex, Gionni; her favorite Vernita Lewis (James), Rhonda Miller; sister/cousin, Mariah (Jeff); her god children, Cain, Penelope; uncle, Bruce, Jeffery, William, Jr., Michael, Ronald, Maurice, Gregory, James, Clarence; aunts, Artis, Sharon, Sheila, Jennifer; her besties, Martese, NaKia L. Holmes and a host of cousins, uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers family request donations be sent to Phillip E. Miller, Sr., and Charlotte E. Miller.
