Curtis Jerome Downton

Curtis Jerome Downton was born on February 23, 1958 in Kansas City, Missouri.

He received his education I the Kansas City Missouri School District, graduating from Paseo High School in 1976.

He joined the military in the Navy serving eight years.

He then went on to work for the railroad (Missouri Pacific).

He moved to Joplin Missouri where he resided at.

He enjoyed coaching kids in football.

He loved his family and friends and was a kindhearted person and help anyone.

Curtis J. Downton departed this life on October 29, 2018. He leaves to mourn his loving mother; Eunice Love of Kansas City, Missouri, three brothers; Robert Downton of Mesa, Arizona, Glen Downton of Harrisonville Missouri, and Michael Downton of Las Vegas, Nevada, three sisters; Andrea Downton of Kansas City, Missouri, Christine Knighten of Kansas City, Missouri, and Catherine Love of Columbia, South Carolina and a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, family and friends.
