Cynthia V Purvey

Cynthia Purvey, 55, transition from her earthly home, to her heavenly home on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. She was born on November 3, 1963 in Los Angeles, California to Edgar B. Purvey and Jessie V. Purvey. She grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from Dorsey High School, and later moved and grew up in Kansas City, Missouri.

In Kansas City, she began working for Hen House as a Deli Manager for 6 years, and then later began working for National Credit 25 years. She was involved in softball and in bowling. In 2003, she gave her life to Christ and would periodically attend church with her sister Sharon, or anyone else that would invite her to attend their worship services.

She is preceded into death by her parents; Edgar B. Purvey and Jessie V. Purvey, her brothers; Edgar B. Purvey, Jr., Daryl Purvey, and her sister; Keturah Purvey.

She is survived by her daughters; Necoe Gilbert, Krashawn Gilbert-Huntington(Shawn), her sister; Sharon Purvey, her grandchildren; Saraea Gilbert, Trynity Gilbert, Maddox Huntington, her nephew; Carl Purvey, her niece; Jenice Purvey, her great-nephew; Jaevion Purvey, and beloved cousins; Gina Strange, Eboni Cunningham, Montae Cunningham, and John Miller(Jay).
