Danyell Alora Johnson, affectionately known as “Dani,” at the age of 38, passed away on November 17, 2024. Born on September 14, 1986, at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri, Danyell was the cherished daughter of Piper Renee Walker and Ralph Trice, and the eldest sibling to Racquel Trice and Ray Trice.

Danyell graduated from Central High School, where her vibrant personality earned her the titles of Class Clown and Best Personality. Her zest for life and her love for beauty led her to pursue cosmetology, earning a degree from House of Heavilin in 2007. Her compassionate heart guided her to healthcare, where she obtained CNA and CMT certifications.

Danyell dedicated much of her life to children, serving as a teacher’s assistant at Raytown South Middle School and, more recently, as Minister of Education at ARC Academy. She poured her energy, love, and faith into nurturing the next generation, leaving an indelible mark on all who crossed her path.

A devoted woman of faith, Danyell loved Jesus above all and was unwavering in her mission to spread His Word. She was a soul winner, sharing the gospel and guiding others to salvation. Together with her husband, Emmanuel L. Johnson, she created a home and ministry rooted in faith, welcoming others with love and providing Bible studies, encouragement, and shelter to those in need.

Danyell and Emmanuel’s love story began in June 2014, blossoming into marriage on July 7, 2015. For nine beautiful years, they served as partners in faith, love, and ministry, touching countless lives with their shared devotion to God and others.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Piper Renee Walker, her maternal grandparents, Minnie and Billy Walker, and her paternal grandmother, Alma Trice.

Danyell’s legacy of love, faith, and service lives on through her devoted husband, Emmanuel L. Johnson; her father, Ralph Trice; her siblings, Racquel Trice and Ray Trice; her mother-in-law, Linda Johnson; her brother-in-law, William L. Johnson II; 35 godchildren; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and her beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
