Darnell Woods

Darnell Odell Woods, 63, departed this life on November 29, 2022.  He was born on October 31, 1959, in Kansas City, Missouri to Lloyd O. Woods and Cora Lee Woods.

He grew up in Kansas City and attended Paseo High School.  He also attended Job Corps where he received his certification in welding. Later, he began working for Soho Lofts as a Maintenance Manager until his health began to decline. Darnell was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.  He also loved to sing and dance for his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Lloyd and Cora Woods; his son: Quincy Styles; his sisters: Margaret Ann McIntosh, Mary Francis Tucker, Loyce and Joyce Woods (twins), and Betty Jean Woods; his brothers: Lloyd O. Woods, Jr., Elbert Lee Woods, Tommy Woods, Sr., and Bobby Woods.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his daughters: Jennifer Strozier, and Qualinda Styles; his sisters: Darlene Marshall (Elder Willie), and Charlene Brooks (Earnest); his brothers: Michael Woods, and Dennis Woods (Denise); his grandchildren: Taja, Terrance, Jayla, J’quan, and J’Marion;  one great-grandchild: Mi’lann, and a host of other relatives and friends.
