Darrell Inman Brittenum, 65, departed this world, on October 6, 2023, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Darrell was born on September 30, 1958, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Paige Inman Brittenum and Bobbie Jean Little.

Darrell graduated from Paseo High School in 1976 and immediately joined the Army where he served for 10 years and achieved the rank of Sergeant.

Darrell accepted Christ at an early age and rededicated his life to Christ in 2021.

Darrell was a proud member of The Transfiguration of Christ Church until his health failed.

Darrell married Donna Dodd and his final union was to Angelia Palmer, the love of his life.

Darrell and Angelia (Ann) were together for 30 years.

Darrell worked for several years at Jones and Sons Moving & Transfer in security and moving, New Generation Inc., as a mover, and Jimmy’s Lounge as security and a cook until he became disabled.

Darrell was known for his intelligence and sense of humor.

Darrell loved the Lord, his family, the military, and all genres of music. All his children were a great source of pride to him.

Darrell was preceded in death by his father, Paige Inman Brittenum; mother, Bobbie Jean Little; sisters, Janice Birch Starks, and Vickie Brittenum; grandmothers, Velma Birch, and Tommie Birch; great-grandmother, Beulah Horton; and grandfathers, James Brittenum, and Edward “Boobie” Birch.

Darrell is survived by his wife, Angelia Palmer Brittenum; children, Shannah Taylor, Trey Brittenum, Darrell Wright, Danzel Wright, Charlene “Josie” Dodd, Demetra Dodd, Charles Dodd, Niesha Cheadle, Eddie Cheadle, Ron Gray, and Corey Stuart; siblings, Sharon Brittenum-Jones (Robert, Jr.), Rhonda Hanna (Thomas), Kathy Brittenum, and Steven Brittenum; 18 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
