Darrin Allen Keith, Jr.

DJ Keith, 23, passed away on November 13, 2018 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on September 25, 1995 in Kansas City, Missouri to Darrin A. Keith and Jeanette Keith.

DJ accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early and was baptized at the age of 12 years old at Paradise Missionary Baptist Church where he also held membership. He was the first person to be Baptized at the church with the water brought from the River of Jordan in Israel.

DJ grew up in the Kansas City area. He was a member of the New Era Association a group for young men. DJ played baseball 3 seasons in the RBI program.

DJ was educated in the Kansas City Missouri Public School District and the Raytown School District. After high school he attended Synergy Trade School in Kansas City, Missouri.

DJ worked for various companies as a dock loader where he worked his last two years.

DJ was a very creative and artistic soul. He would spend countless hours writing poems, creating music, and drawing cartoons. DJ was very special and amazing. He had a big heart, loved to give hug and laugh out loud. His smile could light up a room. He was the best big brother to his sisters and was loved very much by his family and friends.

DJ was preceded into death by grandparents; Irma J. and Harry Keith, Sr., Ethel and Eddie McGary, Martha Arrington, uncle; Gary McGary.

DJ leave to cherish his memory his parents; Darrin A. Keith, Jeanette Keith, sisters; Daleisha Gipson, Erika Keith, Nicole Abbott, Lanay Abbot, Janay Abbott, aunts; Avis McGary, Donna Stevenson, Tammy Keith, Krista Moon, Tina Wilshire, Dana Hamilton, uncles; Gene Floyd, Brian McGary, Byron Keith, Harry Keith, Jr., Andre Stevenson, Lamont Stevenson, Cheyenne Madison, Simone, Leon, Wendy, Chrystal, Tina, Karen Aboott and a host of other relatives and friends.
