David Leon Donahue Sr.

David Leon Donahue Sr., age 63 passed away on 3.20.23 at his residence in Raytown, MO. He was born on 12.31.59 in KCMO to Oscar and Jeanette Donahue. He grew up in Kansas City, MO and graduated from Paseo High School. After High school, he joined the U.S. Army in 1978 and served 16 ½ years. During his time in the service, he was the recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Army of Occupation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, SW Asia Service Medal, Bronze Service Star, Army Service Ribbon. He achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant, E-6.

He was preceded into death by his parents: Oscar and Jeanette Donahue.

He was survived by his children – Shaniqua Donahue, David Donahue Jr, Antwan Donahue and Devon Donahue.

Survived by his Siblings – Albert North, Ramona North, Ricardo Finney, Jacqueline Maxwell, Oscar Donahue III, Vanessa Grayer, Oma Wright, Donald Donahue, Marlo Moore.

Survived by his Grandchild – Justus Leon Brown.
