David W Finney

David Wade Finney was born July 11, 1969, at Rota, Spain Naval Air Station to James and Dean Finney.

He attended Hiawatha KS and Reserve, KS elementary school graduating from Hiawatha High School, class of 1987. Through high school years, David worked at Dairy Queen, and the Riegers Farm as summer help.

After high school, David attended Missouri State University 1989- 1991, in Springfield, MO. Then attended Avila University graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration and Management.

Began working for Pfizer pharmaceuticals and then Zoetis ITS as manager of ITS, systems lead, US Logistics Centers.

David was also a D.J. in the Kansas City area for the K.C. Royals and wedding receptions.

David never married, no children.

He had a passion for cooking, traveling and experiences flavors and food preparations in many areas of the country. For a time critiqued local restaurants which was televised on PBS.

David is survived by his parents James and Dean Finney, Oak Harbor, WA, brothers; Alan Finney (Lucy), Lawrence, KS, Rod Finney (Tammy Awe), Everette WA, James Aaron Finney (Maria), Bellingham, WA, his beloved dog Ripley, five nieces, four nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends. He was preceded into death by maternal and paternal grandparents.
