Deborah was born on July 30, 1950, in Kansas City, Missouri. Born to Dorothy Hunter and Kenneth Standifer. She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Standifer, and her mother Dorothy Hunter.
Growing up, she was an avid ballet dancer for the Smith Sisters Dance Studio. She attended and graduated from Central High School.
Deborah cherished the quiet moments of life. She spent her days reading books and novels and creating stained glass art, a practice she maintained throughout her life. She had a deep appreciation for nature and tended to her plants around the home where she found peace and solace.
She was a retired and accomplished Nail Technician of over 30 years. She took great pride in her work transforming each client's nails into works of art. Deborah built lasting relationships with her clients even after retirement, who appreciated her warm personality and the care she put into her craft.
She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, partner and friend to many.
She is survived by her children, Alvin Johnson Jr, Terri Poole as well as her grandchild Tori Howard and partner Jackie Robinson.
