Debra Sue Lenoir, age 68, lovingly known as, "Tut", passed away on April 20, 2026, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on November 27, 1957, and lived a life rooted in love, strength, and quiet creativity.

Debra was the cherished daughter of Winfield Lenoir Sr. and Lady Be (Caruthers) Lenoir. She was a devoted mother and leaves behind two loving children, Debra E. Lenoir and Keith L. Lenoir. She also leaves behind three grandchildren: Breyana Taylor, Jamal Lenoir Jr. and Swan Stockdale; four great-grandchildren: La'Niah Taylor, Ta'Riah Taylor, Allaha Johnson, Jayce Johnson and a fifth great grandbaby on-the-way, who will continue her legacy. 

In addition, left to cherish her memory: three sisters: Denise Woods (Herbert), Daphane L. Staley, Donna M. Lenoir; two brothers, Allen D. Lenoir and Winfield Lenoir Jr.; and a host of close nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. 

She is reunited in rest with her parents and her sons, Jamal Lenoir Sr. and Mustafa Lenoir, who preceded her in death.

Known for her thoughtful spirit, Debra found comfort and expression in writing. Whether through words on paper or the stories she carried in her heart, she had a way of reflecting life with depth and meaning. Those who knew her will remember her for her resilience, her love for her family, and the quiet strength she carried through life.

Debra’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
