Dej'A Veal

Dej’a Nicole Veal (Nick, Seed of Chucky, Stinky, Brat, Uncle Bay Bay was born June 9, 1995 in Kansas City, Missouri to Davetta Whitmill- Veal and Robby Veal. She departed this earth on March 10, 2021 at the young age of 25.

She attended Blue Springs High School and was attending school at Present to be an LPN. While studying she worked as a home health care worker.

Dej’a enjoyed laughter, she was always playing jokes on people and was often characterized as being “silly”. Dej’a was sweet and soft spoken but could turn into the Tasmanian Devil in the blink of an eye. She was a protector of anyone she loved. Dej’a will be missed, and her memory will always live on.

She is survived by her only child O’shea Ellis Patterson, mother: Davetta; father: Robby; her one and only sibling: Byron Hightower Jr.; grandparents: Mary Whitmill, Bobby and Jewell Veal, her favorite cousin: Angie Nicole, and a host of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. They will make sure to carry on the memories of her to the most precious gift Dej’a has given this world, her son O’shea Ellis  the light and the love of her life.
