Dennis Lavern Gorden

Dennis Lavern Gorden, Sr., 61, departed this life on October 1, 2020 at St. Lukes Hospital, in Kansas City, Missouri.  He was born on October 15, 1958 in Kansas City, Missouri to Dan Gorden and Eunice Gorden.  He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and attended schools in the Kansas City Missouri School District.

He began working for Walkers and Johnny’s Donuts as a cook where he worked for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dan Gorden and Eunice Gorden; and one son, J’Andre Holland.

Dennis leaves to cherish his memories his children, Terry Fox, Alissa Darrough, Dennis Gorden, Jr., Denise Watkins, Danisha Gorden, Joya Gorden, Denzell Gorden, Devan Gorden, Tyra Holland (Diamond), Tia Holland (Deborah); his sisters, Deborah Pryor (Johnny, who was more than just a brother -in-law), and Harriett Morris; special friend, Bertha Perkins, and a host of grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
