Derrick L Barner

Derrick Lamonte “DB” Barner was born on August 12, 1981 in Kansas City, Missouri. Derrick was the oldest child born to Valerie Barner- Frazier. He graduated from Southeast High School in May of 2000. Derrick was in JROTC while in high school which he enjoyed so much. He also loved hanging out with family and friends; and watching basketball and football. Anyone who knew him knows that he loves his Kansas City Chiefs and San Antonio Spurs. Derrick was a hard worker and a great uncle to his nieces and nephew. He always kept a job and worked for Wells Fargo for several years. He leaves to cherish his memory is his loving mother, Valerie Frazier of Grandview, MO; his brothers, Cedric Miles of Grandview, MO, Martez Wilson and Steven Wilson both of Kansas City, MO; his sister, Tanasha Barner of Grandview, MO; maternal grandmother Louise Nelson (Leroy Nelson) of Pittsburg, Kansas; his nieces, Taneiah Allen and Ceniya Miles both of Grandview, Mo; his nephew Cedric Miles Jr of Grandview, MO; and a host aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
