Devolia D. Clemons

Mrs. Devolia Defretta Clemons was born on September 18th, 1951, to the Union of Andy and Devolia Dixon. She entered into Eternal Rest on March 23, 2017, at home.

She professed her love for Christ at an early age and was a member of Palestine

Missionary Baptist Church. She devoted her life to advocating for victims of Domestic Violence.

Preceding her in death were her beloved parents, Andy and Devolia and three of her brothers: Gene, Donald, and Marvel Dixon.

We all loved her and will miss her, but we rejoice that she is with the Lord.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Darrin L. Dixon and Don A. Turner Sr., her daughter MaShawn D. Dixon of Kansas City, MO; two sisters: Marvelline (Murrie) Jackson of Kansas City, KS, Darlene Jones of Pinole, CA; two brothers, Matthew Dixon, Rev. Alvin (Sharon) Dixon of Kansas City, MO; ten grandchildren; three great-grand­children, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
