Donald (Donnie) Lee Logan passed away on April 25, 2024, at his home is Kansas City, Missouri.
Logan was born to parents, Edward Gordilee Logan and Doris Jean (nee Smith) Handy on January 25, 1953, in Fulton, Missouri.
Logan started his scholastic journey in Fulton before moving to Topeka, Kansas, where he would attend Boswell Junior High School. He would then relocate to Kansas City, Missouri, where he graduated from Lincoln High School as part of the 1973 class.
In 2015, Logan retired from his position at the University of Kansas Medical Center. During his retirement, Logan served as the primary caregiver for his brother, Russell Eugene Logan, Sr., in Kansas City, Missouri.
Along with Russell, Donnie is survived by his twin brother, Ronald Lee Logan of Kansas City, Missouri; brother, Stephen Clifford Ferguson I (wife Kim) of Atlanta Georgia, brother, Herbert Anthony Logan, Sr. (wife, Elaine) of Dallas, Texas, and his sister, Jean Marie Handy (husband, Richard) of Columbia, Missouri. In addition to his five siblings, Logan is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews, as well as multiple cousins.
Donald Logan is preceded in death by both of his parents, his brother, Gordon Evans, and his niece Shavonne Logan.
