Donna Jones-Ross

Donna Marie Jones-Ross, 51, was born July 26th, 1965 to Jacqueline Jones in Kansas City, Missouri. Donna was educated in the Kansas City School District and a 1983 graduate of Central High School. Donna's life passions consisted of children, animals, movies, her own 4 children who blessed her with 4 beautiful grandchildren. She was married to Ronnie Ross for 10 years and with that union came her last child, Arina. Donna spent several years as a Secretary at the 16th Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri until her health declined in 2001. In 2008, Donna prayed and accepted the Lord, Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at her home, Westminster Baptist Church and was baptized in front of her friends and family. The greatest joy that came out of Donna's life was not only her children, but her grandchildren that she loved dearly. Her oldest granddaughter, Armani Jones (5), her oldest grandson, E'lyja Jones (2), her second granddaughter, Micaiah Jones (1), and her youngest grandson, David "June" Jones, Jr. (1). Donna was called home by the lord on Thursday, November 3rd , 2016 with her loved ones present. There are many who will cherish her memories, among them are her four children, Rachad J. Jones (De'Shawn), Jacqueline R. Jones, David M. Jones, and Arina R. Ross. Her mother, Jacqueline Jones, her best friend of 20 years, Rochelle D. Woods, two brothers, Oscar "Bud" Jones (Juannette), Steven L. Jones (Sharon), and one brother preceding her in death, David "D.J." Jones. Three sisters, Cassandra J. Smith, Hattie E. Craddock (William), and Brenda J. Jones (Victor), also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends.
