Donna L. Robinson

Donna L. Robinson, age 65, passed away on August 21, 2024, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. She was born on September 22, 1958, in Kansas City, MO. to Edward Thomas and Ruby Jean Bates.

She grew up in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Paseo High School in Kansas City, MO. After high school Donna attended Penn Valley Community College in Kansas City, MO. where she received an associate's degree in early childhood education.

She began work for Della C. Lamb Daycare as a Daycare Teacher where she worked for 11 years. Donna also worked for Hamilton Lamp Co. where she was a material handler, in shipping & receiving for 6 years before retiring in 2023 from custodial work after 17 years at the Federal Court House.

She married Jimmy Robinson on July 1, 1977, in Kansas City, MO. They remained happily married for 47 years until her untimely passing.

She was preceded in death by both Parents-Edward Thomas & Ruby J. Bates and Sister-Debra L. Shoates.

She is survived by her Husband-Jimmy E. Robinson, Daughters-DeMisha Robinson & Fatima Robinson, Sons- Earl J. Robinson, Sr., Adam D. Robinson, Sr. & Brandon L. Robinson, Sr. of Kansas City, MO. Sisters-Janice E. Spruill (Derek), La Tanya L. Lewis (Fredrick) of Kansas City, MO. & Angela Thomas of Bellflower, CA. Brothers-Edward A. Thomas (Joyce) of Topeka, KS. & Marcus Thomas (MaTasha) of Chico, CA., 14 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
