Donovan Edward Garrett

It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Donovan E. Garrett, who left far too soon on December 16, 2024, at the age of 33.

Born on May 16,1991, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the beloved son of Jackie Weston and Douglas Garrett. Throughout his life he remained a proud Kansas Citian, always deeply involved in sports and known for his spirited participation in the Cobra’s Drill Team.

Those who knew him knew that he was a very charismatic soul who could light up the room he entered, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

He is preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparent and his favorite Aunt Sara Garrett.

Donovan leaves behind his Mother Jackie Weston Father Douglas Garrett; Big Sister Ashley Garrett and cherished nephew Jaylen Hudson. Donovan is also survived by significant other Nisha Hampton and 8 children Donovan Jr; DaMauri; DonMeir; DaMya; Armiah; Autum; Kaydence & Kamoree.

Donovan’s memory will be carried on by a host of family members including Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and countless Friends who loved him dearly.
