Doris Patterson

Doris Marie Patterson, 78, passed away on, October 18, 2021 at home in Kansas City, MO. She was born on, July 22, 1943 in Shreveport, LA to Willie Patterson, Sr., and Dorothy D. Pratt-Patterson. She grew up in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Manuel High School. After high school she attended General Hospital University in Kansas City, MO where she received a degree in nursing.

She began working at General Hospital as an LPN where she worked for 10 years. In 2001 she retired as a private duty nurse.

She married Vernon Lee Dale.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Willie, and Bernice Henderson; parents, Willie Patterson, and Dorothy Pratt-Patterson; siblings, William Patterson, Jr., Charles Ray Patterson, and his wife Unetha Patterson, and Richard Earl Patterson.

She is survived by her sister, Delores Tolefree; siblings on her father’s side; and countless nieces, and nephews.
