Dorothy Allie Freeman Rimpson, (AKA Pinkey and/or Eyes), was born August 5, 1951, to the union of Monroe Freeman, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Williams of Kansas City, Missouri.

Pinkey was educated in the Public School System of Kansas City, Missouri. She was employed by Honeywell Corporation as a Special Precision Assembler Adjuster, until she retired in 2014.

Dorothy accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized November 22, 1998, at the Philadelphia Baptist Church, in Kansas City, Missouri, by Senior Pastor, Reverend James E. Everage. Pinkey married Robert Rimpson, Jr., on July 17, 1982.

Dorothy departed this life in her home, July 6, 2024. Preceding her in death, her paternal grandparents, Bud Freeman and Allie Smith; parents, Dorothy Smith and Monroe Freeman, Sr; maternal grandparents, Hortense and Albert Harper; brother Thurman Williams, Sr; sisters, Diane (King), Lewis and Wanda (Freeman) Dennis.

Pinkey leaves to remember her legacy, her beloved husband, Robert Rimpson, Jr; three sons, Keith Freeman, (Shonda), Andre Hardin, and Robert Rimpson, Ill; and her one and only special daughter, Kimberly Freeman; two stepdaughters, Yoshoko (Micki) Rimpson Rand and Yvette Rimpson, Kansas City, MO; four brothers, Darryl Williams (Debra), Baltimore, MD., Monroe Freeman, Jr., Terry Freeman, (Wanda), Kansas City, MO., Willie Williams, Jr., Madison, Wi; two sisters, Angelia Freeman and Lawanda Freeman, Kansas City, MO; sister-in-law, Katherine Williams, Kansas City, KS; twenty-two grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren; two special aunts, Betty (Boot) Cutchlow, Kansas City, MO., and Barbara (Wee-Wee) McDonald, Kansas City, KS., and a host of nephews, nieces, cousin, other close relatives and friends.
