Dorothy Jean Williams was born April 19th of 1945, in Wynne Arkansas. She was the second of four born to Forrestine Williams and Herbert Charles “A.C.” She came to Kansas City in 1966 with her first son, Frank Williams, while pregnant with second son, Johnny Williams, in hopes of finding a better life. After meeting longtime companion George Webb Sr and his two sons, Charles, and George Jr, she had her third and fourth sons, Wayne and Kevin Williams.
Dorothy spent her life doing the things she loved. Spending time with family and friends, participating in activities at Sheffield Family Life Center and travelling with the Don Bosco Group were just a few of the things she loved to do. When she wasn’t out travelling, she enjoyed listening to gospel and watching Westerns. She continued to enjoy these activities even will battling and beating cancer twice.
She was preceded in death by her parents Forrestine Williams and Herbert Charles “A.C.” As well as longtime companion George Webb Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory three siblings Thomas Williams of Kansas City, Missouri, Barbara Jean Williams of Irving, Texas, and Arthur Lee Williams of Forrest City, Arkansas. Her sons and stepsons Frank Williams and wife Marcia, Johnny Williams Sr and wife Selyna, Wayne Williams, Kevin Williams, Charles Webb, and George Webb Jr. and wife Julie. 17 grandchildren Dominique Williams, Alexis Williams, JaLissa Williams, Johnny Williams Jr., Summer Williams, Montel Williams, Brittany Hall, Stanley Williams, Dwayne Williams, Jataaya Williams, Ramonda Bowman, Kashonda Bowman, Kalil Williams, Kevin Williams Jr., Kyree Williams, KyYhonna Bowman, Jarrell Brown. She also leaves behind 14 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family who will continue to celebrate her life also.
