Dorsey S. Williams Sr.

Dorsey S. Williams Sr. passed away on March 13, 2025 at Kansas City Hospice in Kansas City, MO.

He was born February 2, 1937 in Blackwell, Arkansas to Joshua Williams and Luvenia (Johnson) Williams.

He graduated from L.W. Sullivan High School in Morrilton, Arkansas. After high school he worked as a produce manager at the Farmers Market in Kansas City, Missouri for many years.

Dorsey attended St. Matthews #3 Baptist Church and was involved in a variety of activities in his spare time, including; dominoes, pool, bowling tournaments, and cards. He was a master gardener and found an immense amount of joy when fishing on boats and banks.

He married the love of his life Naomi W. Brown on March 1, 1958 in Kansas City. Missouri. They were married for 35 years until her death in 1993.

Dorsey S. William Sr. was preceded into death by his wife Naomi W. (Brown) Williams, their son Dennis O’Keith Williams, grandsons Jamelle Jones and Zachery A. Kelly Jr., his parents Joshua and Luvenia Williams, siblings: Wiawatha Williams, Vastine Williams, Carl Williams, Henry Williams, Bernice Roberts, Timothy Williams, Joshua Williams Jr., Erma Downs, and Billy J. Williams Sr.

He is survived by his children Tommy Brown (Kimberly), Rhonda Kelly (Zachery), Reginald Williams, Dorsey S. Williams Jr., Hubert Williams (Loreen), Rosalind Williams, Judy Williams, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
