Dwight B. Jones, 57, passed away on June 24, 2021 at Hidden Lake Center in Raytown, MO. Dwight was born on March 2, 1964 in Kansas City to William Jones and Girlie B. Jones. Dwight grew up in Kansas City, MO, where he graduated from Van Horn High School in Independence, MO. After high school Dwight attended Penn Valley Community College.
Dwight began work for The City of Kansas City as a Crane Operator where he worked for 21 years and then later retired. Dwight was involved in Nascar Racing #24 Jeff Gordan. Dwight married Freda Jones on March 7, 2009 and they have been happily married for 12 years.
Dwight was preceded into death by his parents Father, Williams Jones, Mother, Girlie B. Jones, and host of aunts and uncles.
Dwight is survived by his wife Freda Jones, daughter; Kiara Jones, foster daughter; Shanta Edelen, foster son; Danta L. Jones, his best friend/brother Glenn Winfield, childhood friend since 3rd grade, mother-in-law; Mother Everlena Johnson whom he loved dearly he called her mom, James, Jauvante, Jeremiah, and Jaliyah loved their (Grandpa Buddy), and host of other relatives and friends.
