Eboni Q. Silas, 29, passed away on February 15, 2026, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Eboni was born on July 7, 1996, in Kansas City, Missouri to Edward L. Washington and Della M. Silas. Growing up in Kansas City, Eboni graduated from Central High School. After high school, Eboni attended House of Heavilyn Beauty College where she received her cosmetology license. After receiving her license and starting her own business, Braids By Eboni, Eboni worked as a self-employed professional braider.

Eboni is preceded in death by her grandmother, Idella Silas, brother, Torrance L. Evans, niece, Queen R. Silas, and her aunt, Tonia Hampton.

Eboni is survived by her father, Edward L. Washington and her mother Della M. Silas; her grandmother, Betty Hampton; grandfathers, Odell Hampton and Sullivan Holmes; seven sisters: Ebony Jones, Errkus Washington, Sh’Kena Collins, Ch’Miah Washington, Rick’Reauna Smith, Calvion Boyles, Brittany Silas; one brother, Desmond Silas; a special friend, Kelvin Porter; and her god Daughter, Serenity Star Robinson.
