Eddie (Blaze) Romero Hayes was born on September 19, 1961, to the union of Roland A. Hayes and Georgia E. Hayes in Columbia, Missouri.
He received his early education in Kanas City, MO and went to Southeast High School.
Ed started his employment at Research Medical Center and later Superior Automotive until his health prevented him from working.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Roland and Georgia Hayes and two sisters: Eleita Walker and Rhonda Hayes-Edwards.
Blaze, as he was affectionately known, was the life of the party. He lived life to his fullest extent, and absolutely adored his family, especially his children, all of them. Let’s not forget his old school music and flashy cars that he also loved - LOL.
In 1992 he was united in holy matrimony to Raci Walker. The union was later dissolved. However; they remained parents and friends. There were also the mothers of his children. His high school sweetheart Regina Landis, his daughter’s mother, Lashel Brown, and special friend LeAndrea Caldwell.
Eddie leaves to cherish his love, laughter, and memories to his children Stacy Landis, his first born (Daddy’s Little Girl), Keya Landis, his pride and joy Jeron Romero Landis, Pasavia Brown, Raven Brown, Sha’Viyon Walker, Tyia Jones, Charierre Romero Walker, his baby boy Blaize Romero, and his special grandson/son Walter Canady III. His siblings: Rolan and Roderick Hayes, brother-in-law Marvin Walker, and sister Roneisha Rogers, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He will truly be missed by all that loved and respected him.
