Edna Beatrice Hall was born on June 1, 1938 (hence the nickname June Bug) in Vicksburg, MS to Samuel B. Johnson and Mary L. Savage.
She was an only child and grew up in Kansas City, MO. She passed away on December 15, 2022.
She graduated from Manual High School in Kansas City, MO. She attended Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church and served with the First Aide Ministry. She was a member of the Shining Star Chapter of the American Businesswomen Association, Ladies in Blue, and the Crescendoettes Social Club. She loved to travel and even has an honorary CB handle of “Traveling Lady”.
She married Andrew L. Hall and there were 4 children from this union. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 2 daughters, Paula Michelle Hall, and Robin Annette Hall; stepdaughter, Sandy Strickland; and her partner, Jesse Strickland.
She is survived by her son, Andrew Dion Hall; her daughter, Felicia (Daniel) Clayborn; grandchildren, Tinisha (Donald) Smith, Martell Reed, Daniella Michelle Clayborn, and Danielle Annette Clayborn; stepdaughter, Darlene (Cliff) Luckett; and step-grandchildren, Quinika Qualls, Quinton Johnson, and LeVoncey Johnson; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
