Edward Eugene Pouncil 75, was born April 7, 1946, in Kansas City Missouri. He was preceded in death by both parents, Edward, and Bertha Pouncil; Brothers Carl Pouncil, Marcellus Pouncil, Alfred Pouncil, Darrell Pouncil, Theotis, and Edward Pouncil. Sister, Dortha Baird. Sons Tyrone Porter and Edward Pouncil jr.
Edward (Eugene) grew up in the Kansas City Lead’s community and would refer to stories while growing up. He attended Dunbar Elementary School and later attended Central High School.
Edward (Eugene) worked at Learners a designer women clothing store, located in the Ward Parkway Mall. Later he went on to work for KC Posters Display. He was a craftsman silk screen printer. He contributed his artistic values to the greater Kansas City aera. You may have seen his posters and flags displayed in the Country Club Plaza. He loved going fishing with his brothers and hanging out with his family and friend playing cards and dominos. The stories they would tell, with jokes and Laughter. About the big one that got away. He also enjoyed family gathering. He was a proud grandfather. He enjoyed cooking breakfast with his side- kick Adriana. He loved all his grandkids
Edward (Eugene) is survived by his wife Sherry Pouncil, three daughters Lisa Porter, Carmella Robinson ( James ) and Michella McClendon (De’Andre) all KCMO. Three brothers Fred Pouncil of KCMO, Bernard Pouncil (Linda) of Grain Valley Mo., and Earnest Pouncil (Katherine) of Gilchrist OR, two sisters Yvonne Meade (Leroy) and Blanche Sims of KCMO, sister’s in-law Joann Pouncil , Denise Pouncil, and Juanita Gordon of KCMO, and a host of grandchildren’s, great grandchildren, Nephews, Nieces, Cousin, other relatives and friends.
