Edye Lorraine Walker

Edye Lorraine Walker went home to Jesus on April 16, 2023, at age 52.

Lorraine was born to James and Laura bolder on July 30, 1970, in Kansas City, Kansas.  She graduated from Southeast High School in Kansas City, Missouri, where she danced on the drill team.

Lorraine met her husband, Sheldrick Walker in 1988 in Wesport, Missouri.  They married on July 15, 1995, and went on to have four children: Golden, Curtis, JeNay, and Elijah.

In addition to being a dedicated wife and mother, Lorraine also enjoyed sewing, dancing, intercessory prayer, and holding various volunteer roles at Berean Fellowship Church.  Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents, James and Laura Bolder.

She is survived by her husband, Sheldrick; her brother, Greg; her sisters, Angela, and Lora; her children, Golden, Curtis, JeNay, and Elijah; her grandchildren, Golden, and Gavin; her nephew, Greg; her nieces, Tiffany, and Laurin, and a host of other relatives and friends.
