Elaine Burks

Elaine Burks, 74, passed away on November 2, 2019 at Redwood of Blue River, in Kansas City MO. She was born on November 14, 1944 in Marshall, MO., to Cesil Cooper and Velma Cooper. She grew up in Kansas City, MO, where she graduated from Manuel High School. She began work for Deluxe Cleaners as a Counter Clerk, she also worked for Gear for Sports as a Customer Service Rep.

She is survived by her husband Lee Burke, son Lee Burks II, stepson Turone Greenwood (Christine), sister in Law Patricia Barber, Minnie Sampson, Betty Fay Lawrence, niece and nephew, Debra and Alonzo Adira, and three grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
