A Legacy of Love
Elaine attended Lincoln High School and later obtained her General Education Diploma. She held many positions within her life, but her passion was the position she held in corrections for 24 years as the 1st female captain with the City of Kansas City, Missouri at the Municipal Correctional Institution known as "Leeds". Throughout the years, she demonstrated dedication, strength, compassion, and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
Elaine accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a long time member of Barker Temple C.O.G.I.C. under the late Bishop Moore.
Above all, family was her greatest treasure. Elaine will forever be remembered for her sarcasm and spending time with her beloved family.

they walk beside us every day.
