Elliott Herring

May 16, 1990, the Lord sent a special package to Earth, in the personage of this son that we named Elliott D. Herring. Reared in love, taught and nurtured in Church of Christ, he was taught, trained and obeyed the Gospel as a preteen and had every opportunity to make his calling election sure.

All formal education was completed in Kansas City, Missouri. Elementary, J.S. Chick ACS, Linccoln College Prep, ACE Middle and Hogan Prep Academy. He also attended UCM-Warrensburg, majoring in Fashion Merchandising/Business. He was president of MO Volunteers and a member of F.A.M.E. (Fashion, Art, Modeling & Entertainment).

Ever eager to meet his own needs, Elliott began work life with McDonalds, was a great employee and was offered work anytime he was home from college. He also worked for Whispering Rock Call Center making friends he is still associated with to date, Jacinta. The fashion jobs began with T.J. Maxx-Ward Parkway, then Harold Pener’s Clothiers. These were very pleasurable of Elliott, he even had the chance to do some modeling, became a personal shopper-assisting others for special events, dressing fashion shows and the like. To say Elliott enjoyed fashion would be an understatement! He went from shy to very outgoing! Elliott enjoyed life, loved to be with his friends, a few we’ll mention here, Q. Cordae Abernathy, MyKesha Young & Elex Franklin, these were his BFFs.

Elliott will truly be missed as he leaves his family. He leaves to cherish his memory: Gwendolyn McNeely-Herring, Xavier Herring, Clifford Herring aka Ptah Oludumare, Khair Azim, Lois McNeely, Courtney & Betty McNeely, Eric & Deanna Murray, Brian Berry, Patricia Johnson, Brandon McNeely, Charles McNeely, LaChelle & Ashley Jackson, Catrice McNeely, Ayana Azim, Hanif & Katherine Azim, Cierra, Brandon Azim, Julia & Hymel Pollard, Thelma Herring, Nijah, Hymel Pollard Jr., Paul Pollard, Yolanda Pollard and a host of relatives and friends.
