Elvis N. Tolefree, 58, transition to his heavenly home on Friday, March 2, 2018 in Columbia, Missouri at his home. He was born on July 5th, 1959 to the union of Ruth Tolefree and Elisha Stallings, Sr. in Kansas City, Kansas. He is preceded in death by his father; Elisha Stallings, Sr., maternal grandparents; Benjamin Tolefree, and Dora Bunn, and paternal grandparents; Horace Stallings, and Lovie Powell. Elvis was raised in Kansas City Missouri and attended school in the Kansas City Missouri School District, graduating from Northeast High School. He received Christ as his personal Savior at an early age. Elvis grew up in a large family of ten he was in the middle to say he was a rambunctious little boy would be putting it mildly. There was never a dull moment in the Tolefree house-hold with Elvis. He was a strong little boy, and you could never win a fight with him, and that includes his older siblings. His mom's friends soon started giving him and his brother Larry to wrestle, and they would put on a show while everyone near and far would gather and watch. Elvis began his career as a firefighter with the Kansas City Fire Dept. right after he graduated. He was very proud to be a firefighter, and loved his job of helping people, saving lives, and the contribution he made was tremendous. After he left the Fire Dept, he moved to Columbia MO. to attend Missouri University, and obtained a degree in Business. Elvis was a lover of life, whether he was working, in school, on the basketball court, at the gym always very active, which explain masculine, and muscular physique. He also resided in Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, just to name a few of the many places he lived. Among other careers, he did some modeling, motivational speaking, and car salesman, and most recently he worked for JB Hunt Transport. Even though Elvis never had children of his own, but had many nieces and nephews that he imparted into, and encouraging them to stay in school, and to stay out of trouble, work hard and dream big.
