Eric Lee Clark, 53, was born on August 12th, 1967 in Shreveport, La, to the union of Don John Clark and Bessie Mae Clark. He grew up in Kansas City, Mo. Eric was baptized at an early age at Greater Corinthian Church under the direction of Pastor Raymond Davis Jr.

Eric graduated from Van Horn High School. After high school he attended Highland Community College, where he played on their college football team. Eric was also a recent attendee of Mid America Nazreen University in pursuit for his Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership degree.

In the early 90’s Eric began his journeyman/lineman career with the local electric companies, starting with KCP&L and transferring to the Board of Public Utilities in November 2003. Over the years, Eric found love for deep frying turkeys for families during the holidays. He enjoyed helping people and he loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his two nephews Micah and Kengston. Eric had a big heart and a kind spirit. His smile would light up a room, along with his infectious laugh.
